Robison Represents at DRS, Tabor Triumphs at NPS!
Dr. Plowman’s side of the lab has not been idle!
Lauren Tabor, a doctoral candidate under the mentorship of Dr. Plowman, is quickly approaching her defense. The entire lab is thrilled to support her accomplishments! In the meantime, she continues to hone her science and presentation skills. Lauren is a T32 fellow on the Breathing REsearch And THErapeutics (BREATHE) training grant at UF. At this year’s Neuromuscular Plasticity Symposium she had an oral and poster presentation on Airway Sensorimotor Function in Individuals with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis.
Raele Robison is a doctoral student under Dr. Plowman’s mentorship. She never ceases to shine when given the opportunity, particularly in the case of poster presentations. You may find yourself wondering whether this is a repeat post, but Raele has earned yet another award for a poster presentation, this time at Dysphagia Research Society (DRS) 2018 in Baltimore, MD. In case you were curious, there were poster submissions from swallowing researchers all over the world!
