Samantha Mora was born and raised in Miami, FL. She graduated in April 2017 with a Bachelor of Health Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders and a minor in Disabilities in Society, and is currently a first-year graduate student in the Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology program at the University of Florida. Samantha currently serves under the direction of Dr. Humbert in the Swallowing Systems Core (SSC) lab, which she joined because of her interests in speech, swallowing, and respiratory physiology. Samantha is pursuing a career as a speech-language pathologist and hopes to one day work rehabilitating patients with dysphagia to improve their quality of life. Her hobbies include practicing yoga, surfing, reading, volunteering, and – of course – playing with her puppy, Luna.
