Carol Smith is an original Floridian who took up traveling early on while serving in the USAF. Her background in medical imaging and medical administration have finally come together where she no longer has to choose between the two roles, now serving as full-time Clinical Research Coordinator and Rad Tech for Dr. Humbert and Dr. Plowman.

Carol has an advanced accreditation in CT and has most recently worked in MRI in the hospital setting but is enjoying going back to her roots operating the C-Arm for the videofluoroscopic swallow studies. Carol graduated from the MCSRT Rad Tech program in Ocala in 1998, a recipient of the BSSRT scholarship awarded for academic excellence, and has since served as President of the Big Sun Society of Radiologic Technologist.

A long time equestrian and lover of all things horse related, Carol lives south of Gainesville in Citra, FL on a small horse farm with her 13-year-old daughter. They share their home with horses, dogs, a cat and a bunny. She enjoys pleasure riding, trail riding and takes an occasional dressage lesson.
