About Alycia Rivet, M.Ed, CCC-SLP
Alycia Rivet hails from Canandaigua, New York, a small town in the Finger Lakes region. She completed her bachelor’s degree in German and Linguistics at SUNY Oswego and her master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Georgia.
Aly then completed her clinical fellowship in skilled nursing facilities in northwest Georgia. She joined the SSC Lab in 2016 and serves as a Clinical Research Coordinator for studies of both Dr. Humbert and Plowman. Aly plans to develop her knowledge base and skills as a swallowologist from the perspectives of both clinician and researcher.
In her free time, Aly enjoys dyeing her hair, throwing a frisbee, and spending time with her dog, Camile.
