About Alycia Rivet, M.Ed, CCC-SLP
Alycia Rivet hails from Canandaigua, a small town in the Finger Lakes region of New York. She completed her bachelor’s degree in German and Linguistics at SUNY Oswego and her master’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Georgia. Aly then completed her clinical fellowship in skilled nursing facilities in northwest Georgia with Integra Rehabilitation.
She joined the SSC Lab in 2016 and served as a Clinical Research Coordinator/Lab Manager, supporting studies throughout the lab and nourishing her appetite for new knowledge. After much guidance and support from Dr. Plowman and Dr. Humbert, Aly applied for the rehabilitation sciences doctoral program and was accepted for Spring 2018 under the collaborative mentorship of Drs. Lotto and Humbert.
Aly enjoys building her vocabulary, wielding makeup brushes, playing games, spoiling her dog, and laughing.
